Capture Settings
Configure resolution, transparency, and capture options in the Capture tab.
Resolution
Set the base resolution for your screenshots.
Width & Height
Enter custom pixel dimensions or use the quick-select buttons:
Game View — Matches your current Game View resolution
1080p — 1920 × 1080
4K — 3840 × 2160
Size Multiplier
Scale your base resolution by 1× to 8× for super-resolution captures. A 1080p base with 2× multiplier outputs at 3840 × 2160.
The final output resolution is displayed in the window header bar.
Capture Options
Transparent Background
Capture with a transparent background instead of the skybox or clear color. This is useful for compositing screenshots in external software.
Requirements:
Camera Clear Flags must be set to "Solid Color"
Background color alpha must be set to 0
When enabled, screenshots are saved with alpha channel (PNG or TGA format recommended).
Include Post-Processing
Include post-processing effects in the capture. Disable this for raw renders without bloom, color grading, etc.
⚠️ Note: Transparent Background and Post-Processing cannot currently be used together. Disable one if using the other.
Render Selected Mattes
When enabled, capturing a screenshot also renders all matte passes selected in the Mattes tab. Useful for batch workflows where you need the beauty shot and compositing passes together.
Quick Capture
The Quick Capture section provides fast access to single-camera captures.
Camera Field
Assign the camera to use for quick captures and the Ctrl+Shift+S shortcut. Click "Find Main" to automatically assign the Main Camera.
Take Screenshot Button

Output Formats
Screenshots can be saved in three formats (configured in the Files tab):
Format Best For PNG General use, supports transparency TGA Professional workflows, supports transparency JPEG Smaller file size, no transparency
Tips
Use Size Multiplier for high-resolution marketing shots without changing your base workflow resolution
For transparent captures, ensure your scene has no opaque skybox or background geometry
The Scene View capture (
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+S) is great for capturing editor angles that aren't set up as game cameras
